Summary
Denver Data Systems provided development enhancements and support for the National Jewish Medical and Research Center Pulmonary Laboratory internal resource scheduling application.
Problem
While the National Jewish Medical and Research Center utilizes a Hospital Information System (HIS) for most resource scheduling functions, the Pulmonary Laboratory found the software to lack a number of essential scheduling features. A complimentary scheduling package was used by the department to meet the additional requirements, however the software was still lacking. The existing HIS system uses QuadraMed Affinity.
Solution
DDS enhanced the existing internal resource scheduling application to dynamically support any number of technicians. In addition, the overall interface performance was improved. The NJRC Pulmonary Laboratory currently uses the scheduling application enhanced by Denver Data Systems to compliment the basic scheduling features offered by the Hospital Information System.
